Warthog English Style Mild Ale


Working through Big Rock Brewery beers has been a difficult process. I’ve been fortunate to have tried mainly their Alchemist and Brewmaster’s Edition beers because at least those beers try to be interesting. The Signature Series attempt nothing of the sort. So far I have only braved their Saaz and McNally’s Extra but know that I will someday have to try their others. Those dreaded others with titles like Traditional Ale and Honey Brown Lager. *Shudder*

This time around I took a stab at the Warthog English Style Mild Ale. I don’t really know what it is. Some places peg it as a brown ale while Big Rock says it is a mild ale. The term mild ale has changed over the years so I don’t really know what they mean by that title. I’m not sure it fully falls into either class so let’s just jump to the description:
