While we are wrapping up our Tailgate Throwdown: Men are from Marzen (not really the name) from last weekend, I’ve decided to put together a few reviews about some of the more recent brews we have had on the side. This was another one that had slipped through our cracks, but managed to pull out just in time before the winter really sets in.
We mentioned about a month ago that this was the time of year for reds. Irish Red Ales to be exact. And while we are slowly getting into fall (finally…in October) it is the perfect time to enjoy the slightly maltier beers. This has always been a highlight of mine when heading to Three Notch’d, but I wanted to put together a stand alone review of one of the best traditional Irish Reds in the state.
