The Shore, or as it is sometimes called, The Shore Bar, is a public house. It was originally called The Terminus, because of it’s proximity to the railway station.
I’m not sure how long ago it was renamed. About 10 years ago the interior was remodelled with the intention of appealing to younger drinkers.
The Shore serves very reasonably priced food, which has garnered good reviews on the TripAdvisor website. At the time of writing, it is ranked 21 out of 42 restaurants in Seaford.
The building appears to be Victorian. I wonder if the entire building has always been a pub, as the style of windows on the front elevation is not consistent, and it looks as if there was once a second door. It is possible that there were two doors into the hotel, though. It used to be the…
