The Fall season is quickly approaching and with it comes an annual tradition in the brewery world – the release of a plethora of seasonal pumpkin beers. Many of these beers are quite good, some are excellent, and some are downright awful. Now, not everyone is going to like this style of beer but if you’re a big fan of pumpkin pie and its associated flavour profile, then there’s a good chance you’re going to enjoy at least one of these beers each Fall. In this review, I’ll be looking at a nice example crafted by Surrey, British Columbia’s Central City Brewers.
