The Alma“I quite like this pub, to be honest,” said Dad.  “It’s a bit noisy for me,” Keith added – and that’s exactly the point.  The Alma has a very good atmosphere but it’s loud (and expensive).  Benefitting from an extremely convenient location just opposite Wandsworth Town station, The Alma is not just a pub but a restaurant (further inside) and a hotel (upstairs) as well.  We found it filled with young people in couples or groups, displaying an even split between suits and shorts.  A few had spilled outside, but most were gathered by small tables or large pillars around the square central bar.  An elegant clock dangled…
