Wet July day 20 and I grab a recently discovered but fastly becoming a favourite of mine. Bridge Road Brewers Bling IPA. Currently being sold in promotional 3 packs with
a Speigelau IPA glass, it’s an absolute gem of a pack if you can still find one.
Pours a dark copper colour, aroma is big bold piney and citrus.
The main thing that hits you is the great balance, the hops shine through a cleverly constructed malt backbone that does nothing to take away from the hop flavour and bitterness.
Hops linger on the palate, and slowly dissipate keeping the flavour right on your palate for several moments past the point that you’ve put the glass down.
